Just had to write in a boast a bit. Landed 18 trout today, one of my best ever, 15 on top and 3 on wet flies. Caddis dries, attractor patterns and imitators did the damage, also 2 on cork beetles along with the 3 wets. Funny, but I got much better action in a lighter hatch of caddis than in a previous week when the adults were almost like a swarm. Slightly warmer water temperature must have been a real factor, moreso than the number of flies.
