Stream Conditions

Weather: cool and windy
Water: clear and low
Flies: everything in the box
Friday afternoon. Behind the fly shop they were lined so went upstream using the trail about 1/2 mile. Did not see a lot fish. Caught 4 small bows (4 to 6" range), mostly on small streamers and nymphs.

Saturday: fished behind the fly shop from 8 AM to 2PM. Very crowded and windy made casting difficult. Could see lots of fish, but they could also see me. Caught two bows and one brown in the 10 to 12" range. Used streamers and nymphs again. Was not having any luck with dry's. Tried everything in the box. There were a two guys out there reeling in fish after fish. One was using a spinner rod and couldn't catch up with the other guy to see what he was using.

Sunday: Spent a couple of hours up from the covered bridge. Did not see many fish at all. Worked quite aways up the stream with no luck. Had two bites the whole time.

Overall conditions were very tough, but still a great three days on the stream.
